I met with Dame Jane Glover, one of the world’s leading Baroque musicians. She hails from Yorkshire, but she’s spent more than a quarter of her life in Chicago, helming Music of the Baroque.
With striking astuteness and feeling, Dame Jane spoke on her long tenure with the group, honored the city of Chicago, and paid tribute to Thomas Wikman, the ensemble’s founder and conductor laureate, who died in October.
