Resilience in concert: Reviving live music

Live music!

In normal times, the International Music Foundation‘s Rush Hour summer series greets audiences — and especially workers — with a free early-evening classical concert at Streeterville’s Fourth Presbyterian Church. It’s a great deal. For an unbeatable price, you’re skipping homebound traffic and witnessing world-renowned performers at the top of their game in a stunning space.

While the commuting aspect might not be as relevant this year, the music might be more vital than ever. It was a joy to collaborate with the exceptional young artists of Nexus Chamber Music. And it was great to be working with WFMT’s award-winning audio engineer, our summer fellow, the IMF team, and the Fourth Presbyterian community to bring this music — and a semblance of normalcy — back to our audiences.
