One of today’s foremost conductors and voices for change in classical music, Marin Alsop was recently appointed chief conductor and curator for Chicago-area Ravinia Festival.
On the heels of this exciting announcement, WFMT welcomed her to the studios. I was delighted to work with Marin and the Ravinia team to put together this fun and breezy video as an intro to her work and her new role at the festival.
